Prior to OpenAI, I did a brief stint at Apple 🍏, where I helped identify + eliminate hallucinations across a number of different AI product surface areas.
Before Apple, I co-founded an AI company, Momentum
, with one of my closest childhood friends, Zach. We raised a seed round, led by Index Ventures, in 2022. At Momentum, we enabled any back office employee to automate their most mundane work; to do this we built a computer-use system from the ground up before the big labs. Earlier in the company's life, we also built the first LLM powered conversational shopping agent for large retailers, ShopGPT, powered by an in-house multi-modal search engine.
Before Momentum, I did my first stint at Apple 🍏, where I helped build and launchSiri's WebAnswer.
I got to Apple via acquisition; Laserlike
was an AI search startup founded by a number of ex-Googlers. At Laserlike, I worked on a number of interesting projects at the intersection of search, machine learning, recommendations, and product design.
I joined Laserlike after graduating from Stanford 🌲 with a B.S. in Computer Science, focused on AI. While at Stanford, I spent two summers at Google Ventures (now GV) 🚀, working on deal sourcing and partnerships.
